Questions
FAQ
What does GUSSI mean?
- Гусі is the Ukrainian word for geese, pronounced GUSSI. The label is named after the geese that defended Ukrainian villages after the invasion, and after the geese our grandmothers embroidered onto scarves long before that.
Who designs GUSSI clothing?
- GUSSI is a house for artist-led collections. Bloom Twins founded it and design their own lines through it, and The Aksis brings a second line. Each collection arrives when it is ready.
Does GUSSI still support Ukrainian charities?
- The first GUSSI line, made with flyp.space, sent its proceeds to Ukrainian charities chosen and checked by the founders. Email us for the current arrangement on any given collection.
When does the next GUSSI collection drop?
- GUSSI does not work to a seasonal calendar. A capsule is released when the artists have finished it, which means there is no fixed date. Join the mailing list and you will hear before anyone else.
How does GUSSI sizing run?
- The Cross The Border pieces are accessories and come in one size. Sizing details will be published with the next collection.
Where does GUSSI ship, and what does it cost?
- We ship worldwide. Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your address, so you see the real cost before you pay. Duties and import taxes on international orders are set by the destination country and are paid by the recipient.
Why does a GUSSI order take longer than usual to arrive?
- Because every piece is made to order rather than pulled off a shelf. Nothing is held in a warehouse, which is how the capsules stay small and unrepeated.
